PURPOSE: A hot press formed aluminide coated steel plate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize the thickness of a coating layer and to prevent crack on the coating layer during a hot press molding process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a hot press formed aluminide coated steel plate comprises the steps of: preparing a steel plate(S10), forming a coating layer including aluminum on the surface of the steel plate(S20), autenitizing the steel plate by heating the steel plate to form an irregular structure on the coating layer so that aluminum is transformed into aluminide(S30), press forming the steel plate(S40), and cooling the steel plate to obtain a martensite structure and forming a regular Fe_3Al structure in the coating layer(S50). |
