<p>PURPOSE: A character input device using a touch screen and a method thereof are provided to increase input spaces of basic characters arranged on the touch screen by sufficiently securing the spaces. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(100) inputs a character corresponding to a signal generated by touch input or motion input. Basic characters are arranged in the input unit. If the basic characters are touched, an output unit outputs the basic characters. If the basic characters are moved in a touch state, the output unit outputs additional characters not arranged in the input unit. A control unit(300) forms characters, letters, numbers, symbols, or special characters by combining the basic characters with the additional characters.</p> |
