<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable with a simple structure while having excellent noise characteristics and also provide a method of manufacturing the cable. <P>SOLUTION: A cable 1 includes: at least one insulated wire core 10 having an internal conductor 11 and an insulating layer 12 covering the outer peripheral surface of the internal conductor 11; and a shield layer 20 covering the outer peripheral surface of the insulated wire core 10. The shield layer 20 is composed of a tape 21 having a metal layer 22 exposed in one surface. The tape 21 is folded and overlapped along the longitudinal direction with one surface used as the outside and wound around the insulated wire core 10 so that the metal layer 22 on one side 26 of a folding line L and the metal layer 22 on the other side 25 of the folding line L come into contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
