<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute forenotice to a game player even when there is no operation-start memory, in a game machine including a variable display device that can execute a variable display game variably displaying identification information based on entering and winning of a game ball in an operation-start winning area and, when a stop result of the variable display game becomes a predetermined special result, producing a special game state that is advantageous to the player. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine includes a predetermination means (a game control device 100) that determines information related to a setting of a display mode in the variable display game to be executed based on a prescribed operation-start memory which is not produced yet.
