<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile sense detection device which is constituted so as to detect the presence or absence of breakage, etc. of a tool by detecting an air circulation state by means of a valve mechanism, and which can surely detect even operation with a small motion stroke or operation with a small operation force in a valve operation and enhance detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An air chamber 12 supplied with air from an air supply passage 9 and an air hole 30 communicating the air chamber 12 and an air exhaust passage 6 are formed in a detection body 5. A valve body 13 for closing the air hole 30 by the air supplied from the air supply passage 9 is movably arranged inside the air chamber 12. A contact bar 3 which passes through the detection body 5, projects outward and is pushed in by contact with an object W to be detected is provided in the valve body 13. A pressure switch 8 which detects exhaust air discharged from the air hole 30 by opening the valve body 13 is provided in the air exhaust passage 6.
