<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately evaluate feeling of brightness in space. <P>SOLUTION: A device for evaluating illumination environment comprises: an imaging part for imaging a luminance distribution image in an illumination space; a mask area setting part for setting a mask area in the luminance distribution image; and a display control part for setting a luminance level of the mask area to a black level to perform display control for displaying the luminance distribution image. The device eliminates influence of direct illumination and obtains an average luminance of only indirect illumination in the illumination space to appropriately evaluate feeling of brightness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
