<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately estimate a pixel value in a position where a focus detection pixel is disposed, in an image signal obtained from an imaging element in which the focus detection signal is arranged in an image area. <P>SOLUTION: The image signal which is produced by an imaging part 120 and made into a digital signal by an analog front-end 122 is temporarily stored in a RAM 164. A defocus amount derivation part 304 processes a signal output from the focus detection pixel, derives the defocus amount of an image formed by a photographic optical system 110, and outputs the defocus amount to a pixel value estimation part 302. The pixel value estimation part 302 produces an estimated pixel value by using the value of at least one of a focus detection signal output from the focus detection pixel and a signal output from an adjacently disposed pixel being an imaging pixel disposed in the vicinity of the focus detection pixel in the image area of the imaging element, according to the value of the defocus amount derived by the defocus amount derivation part 304. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
