<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic device which permits matter adsorbed on a suction duct at the distal end to be easily removed. <P>SOLUTION: When a press button 421 is pressed, a positioning protrusion 411 is guided into a first positioning groove 310, and a suction piston 400 is depressed toward the bottom of a suction cylinder 300. When the suction piston 400 is fully depressed, a vent 412 is connected with a negative pressure duct 233, and negative pressure is supplied to the suction duct 241. When the press button 421 is released when mucous tissue is adsorbed onto the distal end 246, the mucous tissue remains adsorbed onto the distal end 246 and does not separate from the distal end. When the suction piston 400 is rotated around the shaft, the positioning protrusion 411 engages with the first positioning groove 310 and is guided, butting the end of the first positioning groove 310, and the vent 412 is connected with an open groove 320. Since the open groove 320 is opened to the atmosphere, the atmosphere flows into the vent 412.
