<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable ashtray suitable for single use and for combined sale with a cigarette package in a vending machine. <P>SOLUTION: The portable ashtray is rectangular pouch-shaped. The portable ashtray includes: an ashtray body (12) with front and rear walls made of flame-retardant or flame-proofed paper; and ribs (32) distributed on the inner surfaces of the front and rear walls, made of flame-retardant or flame-proofed paper and thicker than the thickness of the front or rear wall.
