A functional head for a fragrance container is described, with an inlet opening for admitting air into an inlet channel, with an outlet opening for discharging a mixture of fragrance and air from an outlet channel, and with a spring-loaded valve plate which opens the inlet channel and the outlet channel when the functional head is attached to a fragrance generator and keeps them closed in the state when separate from the fragrance generator, wherein the inlet opening and the outlet opening are arranged in a housing wall section of the functional head, wherein the valve plate is arranged in the interior of the functional head and spring-loaded behind the housing wall section and closes the inlet opening and the outlet opening in a valve position, and wherein the housing wall section of the functional head has a recess into which a ram can be pushed, by means of which ram the valve plate can be moved counter to the force of the spring. |
