The invention relates to apparatus, system and a tray assembly to allow the handling and movement of articles, such as empty containers from a storage to a filling location. The invention provides for the use of at least one, but typically a plurality, of trays which can be used to store a group of containers therein during storage in which the same can be hygienically and effectively sealed in the tray, and also for use to allow a portion of the tray to be moved so as to allow movement of the group of containers into and out of the tray for subsequent handling. In one embodiment it is the base of the tray which is movable with respect to the remainder of the tray to allow the movement of the containers. |
