Provided is a copolymer of a conjugated diene compound and a non-conjugated olefin, the copolymer being used for the production of a rubber that has excellent crack-growth resistance, heat resistance, and ozone resistance, and containing cis-1,4 bonds in moieties originating from the conjugated diene compound. Also provided are a rubber composition containing said copolymer, a rubber composition for tire tread use in which said rubber composition is used for tread members of a tire, a crosslinked rubber composition prepared by cross-linking said rubber composition, and a tire made by using said rubber composition or said crosslinked rubber composition. The copolymer of a conjugated diene compound and a non-conjugated olefin is characterized in that the content of cis-1,4 bonds in a moiety originating from the conjugated diene compound is greater than 92%.
