<p>The coil (7) has a transmitter antenna (13) to receive and send a modulated carrier signal (S') in a beam lobe at a controlling and evaluating device of a magnetic resonance system. The beam lobe is covered in a vertical plane at a vertical angle and in a transverse plane at a transverse angle, where the vertical and transverse planes comprise a mean radiation pattern. An adjusting unit (20) always adjusts the pattern independent of the orientation of the local coil relative to space verticals, such that the pattern forms a preset polar angle with the verticals.</p> |
