The battery (1) has cells (5, 6) heated/cooled by fluid tempering/cooling unit (20) i.e. water, and gas tempering/cooling unit (10). The gas tempering/cooling unit is provided in a set of heat-conducting bodies (11, 12) that is connected with other heat-conducting body (24). The fluid tempering/cooling unit is provided in the latter heat-conducting body. The former set of heat-conducting bodies is arranged between the cells. The heat-conducting bodies are designed as plates, and gas passages are arranged parallel to each other.
