The system (10) has an exhaust gas pipe (12) for discharging exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine (14). A sound source (24) e.g. muffler, is fluidically coupled with the exhaust gas pipe by a corrugated pipe (22). The corrugated pipe allows relative movement of the exhaust gas pipe against the sound source. A holder (26) attaches the sound source at a body shell of a vehicle. A flange connection (32) detachably attaches the sound source at the corrugated pipe. The corrugated pipe is lead into a discharge point (20) in the exhaust gas pipe. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
