<p>The card-type toy is provided with a flat base (2) and a main toy body (3) that is stored flush with the base (2). A storage cavity (6) for storing the main toy body (3), securing tabs (4) for securing the main toy body (3), and operating levers (8) for advancing and retracting the securing tabs (4) are provided in the base (2). The main toy body (3) is energized by spring members (S1, S2, S3) so as to be capable of rising up from the storage cavity (6) of the base (2).
