<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem in which an image failure derived from insufficient charge is caused because toners having different charge amounts are mixedly supplied to a developing roller due to convection of the toners caused in a region above a contact portion between the developing roller and a toner supply roller for supplying a toner to the developing roller in a developing device. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device comprises: a developing roller 16; a toner supply roller 18 opposing the developing roller 16 in an opposing portion thereof for supplying a toner to the developing roller 16; and a developer guiding member 21 provided on an upstream side of the opposing portion along a rotation direction of the toner supply roller 18. The developer guiding member 21 includes a first corresponding curved portion 21a opposing the developing roller 16 and having a prescribed gap from the developing roller 16; and a second corresponding curved portion 21b opposing the toner supply roller 18 and having a prescribed gap from the toner supply roller 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
