MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND ROAD TRAFFIC QUALITY DETERMINATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication device that performs notification according to a predetermined aspect by determining road traffic quality based on residual time up to next signal display.

SOLUTION: The mobile communication device comprises a communication unit that is provided on a mobile object and receives traffic light information; a control unit that determines whether the mobile object has ignored stop signal display or traveling invalidation signal display and determines the road traffic quality based on a number of the ignored traveling invalidation signal display and a number of the ignored stop signal display corresponding to the residual time up to the next signal display at a time when the stop signal display is ignored; and a notification unit that provides notification of the road traffic quality according to a predetermined aspect being controlled by the control unit.
