<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a server manager to construct and configuration-change a computer system only by himself/herself. <P>SOLUTION: In an administrative server, interface identifiers of communication destinations set to a plurality of external devices are acquired, respectively, and stored in a first table. Specifications of a plurality of server computers and identifiers of the server computers are acquired, respectively, and stored in a second table. Specifications of the plurality of external devices are acquired, respectively, and stored in the first table. A profile to be prepared for a server computer is received, the server computer fulfilling the profile is acquired from the second table, and an external device fulfilling the profile is acquired from the first table. An interface identifier of a connection destination is acquired from the first table, and the acquired interface identifier is notified to the server computer acquired from the second table.
