DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL HAVING HIGH EFFICIENCY AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

<p>PURPOSE: A high efficiency dye-sensitized solar cell and a method for manufacturing thereof are provided to increase photoelectric conversion efficiency by varying the quasi-Fermi level of titanium dioxide. CONSTITUTION: Titanium dioxide in a nanoparticle structure is formed as a photoelectrode. A part of titanium in the lattice of the titanium dioxide is substituted with a substituent. The substituent includes a bandgap from 0.2 eV to 9 eV. The substituent is substituted with from 0.001 mol% to 10 mol%. The particle size of the substituted titanium dioxide is from 5nm to 20nm.</p>
