<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear surface protective sheet for solar cell which satisfies weatherability, gas barrier properties, and flexibility simultaneously, and ensures excellent adhesion to sealant when it is used in combination with a sealant composed of any material. <P>SOLUTION: The rear surface protective sheet for solar cell has a base material film consisting of at least one layer, and a coat layer consisting of at least one layer formed on one side of the base material film. The coat layer is a terpolymer layer formed by curing a coating film of a liquid body having a resin component consisting of a metal alkoxide having a reactive functional layer (Y), an acrylic monomer having a reactive functional group (X) reacting on the reactive functional layer (Y), and an acrylic monomer not having a reactive functional group (X).
