PURPOSE: A cathode catalyst for zinc air secondary batteries is provided to enhance a catalyst activity by adapting a cathode catalyst material of a perovskite structure having an ABO3 structure and to improve a charge and discharge characteristic of the secondary batteries. CONSTITUTION: A cathode catalyst for zinc air secondary batteries uses a material having a perovskite structure of A_(1-x)A'_xB_(1-y)B'_yO_3 as a cathode catalyst, wherein a cation of A position is Pr^(3+), a cation of A' position can be substituted with Sr^(2+) or Ca^(2+) wherein x is in a range of 0~0.5, a cation of B is Mn^(3+), Co^(3+) or Ni^(3+), a cation of B' position can be substituted with Fe^(3+) wherein y is in a range of 0~0.5. |
