PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing artificial eyelashes and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enhance the adhesion and the supporting force of human eyelashes and artificial eyelashes by forming linear sections at the artificial eyelashes. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing artificial eyelashes includes a guiding roller(100), a guide(200), an adhesive roller(300), a cutter(400), and a curler(500). The guiding roller unwinds several strands of threads under pre-determined tension. The guide collects the unwound threads by regular intervals. The adhesive roller pulls the threads at the fixed rate and applies adhesive to the threads to form bonding sections(A). The cutter cuts the right rear parts of the bonding sections to form eyelash bodies(1000). The curler curls the eyelash bodies except for linear sections(L) containing the bonding sections.
