<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device allowing a user to easily perform input operation. <P>SOLUTION: A portable electronic device includes: a housing having a first face, a second face provided on the back side of the first face, and a protruding portion formed in the vicinity of an edge portion of the second face; a touch panel placed on the first face; and a control unit for displaying an operation screen in an edge area of the touch panel that is an area on the touch panel of the first face and on the back side of an area where the protruding portion of the second face is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
