<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair where the line of sight of a seated person can be oriented forward by raising the headrest of the chair relative to a backrest when a user desires to orient his/her line of sight forward by slightly reclining the backrest from an upright position, and also where the headrest of the chair is reclined relative to the backrest when the user desires to have a sleeping posture by significantly reclining the backrest. <P>SOLUTION: The chair is configured in the following manner the chair has a back frame 8 capable of being reclined and raised, and a head frame 22 tcapable of being reclined and raised relative to the back frame 8, the head frame 22 rises relative to the back frame 8 as the back frame 8 reclines from the upright position, but after the angle (α) of the front surface of the head frame reaches a prescribed angle relative to the vertical axis of the back frame, the head frame 22 reclines relative to the back frame 8 as the back frame 8 reclines further, in addition, the head frame 22 rises relative to the back frame 8 as the back frame 8 rises from the reclined position, but after the angle (α) reaches the prescribed angle, the head frame 22 reclines relative to the back frame 8 as the back frame 8 rises further. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
