<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of planning and scheduling based on timelines. <P>SOLUTION: A system and method of on-line forward state-space planning 24 adds actions in a form of tokens, at fixed wall-clock times, to partial plans representing a potential final plan. The adding of the actions is repeated until a final sequence of actions satisfies a defined goal, wherein during the process of the planning 24 all the actions in the partial plans and the tokens introduced by the actions are constrained to happen at the fixed wall-clock times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
