<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor that prevents combustion vibration, and to provide a gas turbine equipped with the gas turbine combustor, a gas turbine plant equipped with the gas turbine, and a method for controlling the gas turbine combustor. <P>SOLUTION: The gas turbine combustor includes an outer cylinder 2, an inner cylinder disposed in the outer cylinder 2, a plurality of main nozzles M1 to M8 disposed in the inner cylinder at equal central angle intervals, and a plurality of top hat nozzles T1 to T16 disposed along a circumferential direction in a space between the outer cylinder 2 and the inner cylinder. The plurality of top hat nozzles T1 to T16 are divided into a plurality of top hat nozzle groups TH-A, TH-B in the circumferential direction.
