<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive transponder device and a vehicle control device using the same, capable of monitoring an operation state of an internal circuit and informing an external part of the operation state without requiring a code processor. <P>SOLUTION: This transponder device includes a telegram setting-transmitting part 31, and a monitoring part 5. The telegram setting-transmitting part 31 operates by receiving supply of a power source from a power source supply part 6, and transmits a preprepared telegram signal.
