<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vapor from existing around a sealing zone between a shutter and an axial stem in a fuel injector. <P>SOLUTION: In a metering servo valve 5 of an injector body 2, a shutter 47 is provided which slides axially on an axial guide 38, and opens and closes a discharge channel 42. The discharge channel 42 has at least three restrictions 53, 44, which are arranged in series with each other to divide pressure drop along the discharge channel 42. The three constricted parts (53, 44, and 79) are each defined by individual bodies (33b, 54b and 78) different from each other, and one (54b) of the bodies is housed in another body (78) of the bodies.
