VOICE CALL DEVICE HAVING DIRECTIONAL PATTERN CHANGEOVER FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice call device to solve a problem with a conventional speaker system in that a user may transmit a sound signal also to a nontarget person when reproducing a sound signal with narrowed speaker directional pattern as the user cannot check whether the receiver can catch the sound signal properly since the conventional speaker system (voice call device) changes the speaker directional pattern by the broadcaster's decision.

SOLUTION: A voice call device includes: person existence detection means for detecting whether a person is existing in a place capable of hearing an output sound signal when reproducing a sound signal with narrowed directional pattern of a speaker; and individual identification information readout means and target person determination means for detecting whether the person existing in the prescribed position is the target person or not. When the device checks that the target person is surely existing in the prescribed position, the device reproduces the sound signal with narrowed speaker directional pattern.
