<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode active material for a secondary battery containing a lithium-containing phosphate compound having an olivine type structure with safety and at low manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrode active material for a secondary battery containing a lithium-containing phosphate compound having an olivine type structure comprises the steps of mixing a starting material containing a lithium-containing material, an iron-containing material, and a phosphorus-containing material, drying the mixed material, and burning the dried material. Water is added and mixed to the starting material at the mass ratio in the range of 1.5 to 3.0 with respect to the total mass of the starting material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
