METHOD FOR DETERMINING CONCENTRATION OF HMG-COA REDUCTASE INHIBITORS

Disclosed is a method for determining the concentration of HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors and a method for determining the inhibition rate of HMG-CoA reductase. The method for determining the inhibition rate of HMG-CoA reductase comprises the following steps: 1) establishing the following enzyme catalysis system for HMG-CoA reductase: preparing both a reaction system for samples to be tested and a negative control reaction system having a quantity of deionized water equal in volume to the samples to be tested; 2) determining by means of HPLC-MS/MS the respective MVAL concentrations of the negative control reaction system and of the reaction system for samples to be tested; 3) by means of the formula: HMG-CoA reductase inhibition rate = [(MVAL concentration in negative control reaction system - MVAL concentration in reaction system for samples to be tested) / MVAL concentration in negative control reaction system] x 100%, calculating the inhibition rate of HMG-CoA reductase. The method enables precise determination of the HMG-CoA reductase inhibition rate.
