<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image of a suitable printer even in a scene in which an OS controls display of an image of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing device which displays an image of an image forming device by referring a PPD (PostScript Printer Description) in which functions that the OS can use by the image forming device are described includes: a correspondence table of option device mounting states and images; an option device mounting state acquisition part which acquires a current mounting state of an option device from a printer; an image download part which determines an image corresponding to the acquired current mounting state of the option device from the correspondence table of option device mounting states and images, and downloads a corresponding image from the printer; and a PPD rewriting part which rewrites a file path of the image of the printer, entered into the PPD, that the OS refers to into a file path of the corresponding image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
