<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load driving device capable of efficiently and stably controlling load driving and an electronic device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A load driving device 1 comprises: a switch element 10 which generates an output voltage Vo from an input voltage Vi to a light-emitting diode line LED according to its on/off; a switch control part 20 which controls on/off of the switch element 10 so that a feedback voltage Vfb obtained by subtracting a drop voltage (n×VF) of the light-emitting diode line LED from the output voltage Vo matches a prescribed reference voltage Vref; and a variable current source 30 which controls on/off of a driving current ILED flowing in the light-emitting diode line LED according to a dimming signal PWM. If the switch element 10 is on at the off timing of the driving current ILED, the switch control part 20 subsequently maintains the on state of the switch element 10 and turns off the switch element 10 when an on period of the switch element 10 reaches a prescribed period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
