<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of projecting a projection image which has further less brightness unevenness than that of a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: In the projector which includes a light source device which emits light from a light emitting portion, an illumination device including a first lens array having a plurality of first small lenses, a second lens array having a plurality of second small lenses corresponding to the plurality of first small lenses and a superimposing lens which superimposes light from the second lens array, an optical modulation device which modulates light from the illumination device according to image information, and a projection optical system which projects light from the optical modulation device onto an object to be projected, radii of curvatures of the first small lenses are set for each first small lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
