<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user convenience by enabling even a person handicapped in sight to recognize a position or a function of a function button appropriately and easily to comprehend, without being limited by a display position of the function button. <P>SOLUTION: A user interface apparatus includes a display panel, a display panel control unit which displays various kinds of display information and function buttons to which functions are assigned at suitable positions on the display panel, an operation position detection unit which detects a user operation in the vicinity of or in contact with a surface of the display panel and acquires an operation position, a feedback output unit which outputs predetermined feedback applying a tactile sense to a user, a determination unit which determines whether or not the operation position is a display position of a function button being displayed on the display panel, and a control unit which causes the feedback output unit to output the predetermined feedback related to the function button when the operation position is the display position of the function button. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
