<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper holder that has improved its stability when roll paper is pulled out and cut to a required length. <P>SOLUTION: The roll paper holder 1 includes: a bottom part 2; a front part 3 provided continuously to one side on the front side of the opposing transverse sides of the bottom part 2 and swingable with a connecting part to the bottom part 2 as an axis; a right side face part 4 and a left side face part 5 that are raised from one side of the opposing longitudinal sides of the bottom part 2, respectively; and a back part 6 raised to be inclined to the bottom part 2 from the rear one side of the opposing transverse sides of the bottom part 2 and connected between the right side face part 4 and the left side face part 5. With these components, the roll paper holder forms a box body opened/closed at the swinging position of the front part 3. The front part 3 has a paper guiding part 3bc provided between a folded part 3c to an end part 3b.
