<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charger which enables a user to check whether the charger is in normal driving condition even in a non-charging mode after reducing a standby power. <P>SOLUTION: A charger 1 connects to a commercial power supply and charges a battery 2 mounted thereon. The charger 1 includes: charging display means 3 for lighting up or flashing a display part 30 only during charging to indicate the charging state; and notification means 4 for notifying a user that the charger is in a charging standby mode which is indicated in different form from the charging mode for distinction, when the charger is connected to the commercial power supply without mounting a battery. The notification means 4 also notifies a user that the charger is in a charging complete mode which is indicated in different form from the charging mode for distinction, when a prescribed input is done with the charger 1 after the charging is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
