<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying apparatus for long articles which can appropriately transfer a long article between transfer target points. <P>SOLUTION: The conveying apparatus for long articles has an elevating driving part which drives a restiform body by winding to drive elevating of an elevating body 6 and a transferring device 5 provided at the same, a controlling part that controls the elevating driving part and activation of the transferring device 5, and an elevating position detecting part that detects an elevating position of the elevating body, and the controlling part executes transferring processing for activating transportation of the transferring device 5 while an end of the elevating body 6 is received and supported by a receiving part 64 at a transfer target point, and executes elevating position adjusting processing for controlling activation of the elevating driving part based on information detected by the elevating position detecting part to absorb change of the elevating position of the elevating body 6 caused by a change of load applied on the elevating body 6, which changes as an article W is transported in an article transferring direction during execution of the transferring processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
