<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bubble production device smaller in size than a conventional one and capable of producing a foamy liquid containing a smaller percentage of large-diameter foams and having high uniformity. <P>SOLUTION: A member, which is provided with a gas discharge port which discharges gas from the same through a gas passage into a liquid in a gas and liquid mixing unit, has a surface lyophilic to a foamy liquid. Thus, when the gas is discharged from the gas discharge port, a bubble begins to be produced in a fixing solution and a constricted portion at a lower section of the bubble is produced as the bubble grows. However, a contact angle between the surface of the bubble and the surface of the member provided with the gas discharge port remains small because the surface of the member provided with the gas discharge port is lyophilic to the foamy liquid. For this reason, the constricted portion of the bubble is not extended and the constricted portion is cut off before the bubble grows large, thereby the foamy liquid with a small bubble diameter is produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
