<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the flow rate of an EGR gas returned to an intake port and a combustion chamber of an engine even if a pressure difference is small between the pressure of an intake gas introducing flow path 7 of a compressor housing 5 of a compressor and the pressure of an inlet part of an EGR gas pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The EGR gas introducing flow path 9 into which the EGR gas is introduced from an EGR gas pipe communicates with a meridian plane shaped intake gas flow path 8 formed between the surface of an impeller 4 and an inner surface of a shroud wall 6 and an impeller housing space, through the EGR gas introducing port 10 opened in the inner surface of the shroud wall 6 of a compressor housing 5. In the EGR gas introducing flow path 9, the EGR gas introducing port 10 is located in a position (particularly, a position B) between an impeller tip position P in the inner surface of the shroud wall 6 and an impeller inlet position LE1. As a result, the larger quantity of the EGR gas is introduced into the intake port of each cylinder and the combustion chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
