<p>This device is provided with: semiconductor elements (107A, 107B, 107C) through which a current flows which does not exceed an upper-limit current value determined according to the level of control signals (VGA, VGB and VGC), and which is in accordance with the difference between the voltage value of a direct current power source (BA) and the charging voltage value of a capacitor (102); a controller (105) which outputs the control signals to the semiconductor elements; and a temperature detection circuit which detects the temperature of each semiconductor element. The controller (105) adjusts the level of each of the control signals according to the temperature detected by the temperature detection circuit so that the current flowing through the electric circuit does not exceed a current limit value until a specified amount of time has elapsed after the electric circuit has been closed, and also adjusts the level of each of the control signals so as to permit the current flowing through the electric circuit to exceed the current limit value, after the specified amount of time has elapsed.</p> |
