PURPOSE: A novel anthracene derivative and novel organic compound are provided to enhance light emitting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An anthracene derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1. An organic compound is denoted by chemical formula 2. A light device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and a layer inserted between the first and second electrodes. The layer contains the anthracene derivative and organic compounds such as vanadium oxide, niobe oxide, tantalium oxide, chrome oxide, molybdenum oxide, tungsten oxide, manganese oxide, or rhenium oxide.
