<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting head which decreases environmental load, has a high insulation and controls the leakage current, and to provide a liquid ejecting apparatus and a piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting head includes: a pressure generation chamber which communicates the nozzle opening; and a piezoelectric element including a piezoelectric layer and an electrode provided on the piezoelectric layer. The piezoelectric layer includes a complex oxide having a perovskite structure containing bismuth and iron. The complex oxide further includes at least a kind of a first dopant element selected from the group comprising sodium, potassium, calcium, strontium and barium, and a second dopant element comprising cerium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
