<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter device 1 includes a transformer 101, rectifying diodes 107, 108, a smoothing capacitor 111, an inverter circuit 12 and a relay 106. The transformer 101 has primary winding 101a, 101b and secondary winding 101c, and transforms a DC voltage input into the primary winding 101a, 101b to output an AC voltage from the secondary winding 101c. The rectifying diodes 107, 108 and the smoothing capacitor 111 rectify/smooth the AC voltage output from the secondary winding 101c to output a DC voltage. The inverter circuit 12 converts the rectified/smoothed DC voltage to output an AC voltage.
