<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a procedure of a method for producing neutral/alkaline cellulases having enzymatic activity at neutral and/or alkaline pHs and compositions comprising the same. <P>SOLUTION: The composition having optimum neutral cellulase activity at 60°C and pH 7, comprises a cellulase which is isolated by a method comprising growing the genus Chrysosporium wild-type or mutant fungi by culturing them in a proper medium, and has a molecular weight of 25 kD, and a cellulase whose amino acid sequence is encoded by a nucleic acid sequence derived from the wild-type or mutant fungi. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
