METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which is manufactured by an ink jet method, excellent in brightness and contrast ratio and in which occurrence of color unevenness and density unevenness is suppressed.

SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a color filter of the present invention comprises: a step of discharging a coloring ink containing a colorant and a first liquid medium for dissolving and/or dispersing the colorant into a cell; a step of removing the first liquid medium from the coloring ink discharged into the cell to form a colored film; a step of applying a second liquid medium capable of dissolving or swelling the colored film to the colored film; a step of removing the second liquid medium; a step of applying an ink for forming a resin film which contains a resin material and a third liquid medium for dissolving and/or dispersing the resin material into the cell into which the coloring ink is discharged; and a step of removing the third liquid medium from the ink for forming a resin film discharged into the cell to form a resin film.
