<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve appropriate visibility and to prevent harmful effects from occurring at a high density disk or the like, when providing label surface display by a mirror surface part and a rough surface part. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording medium, one surface of a substrate is made a label surface, and on the other surface side of the substrate, a recording layer for recording/reproducing information is formed. On the label surface of the substrate, a mirror surface part and a rough surface part formed having a level difference from a plane of the mirror surface part are formed, so that visible label surface display is formed by the mirror surface part and the rough surface part. Especially, the level difference is equal to or below 10 μm, and roughness of the rough surface part is, an average roughness Ra=10 to 2 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
