<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial for timepiece which is excellent in light transmissivity and aesthetic appearance, and to provide a timepiece including the dial for timepieces. <P>SOLUTION: The dial 1 for timepieces comprises: a convex-like member 11 which has a convex part 113 reflecting/scattering incident light on one side thereof; and a dispersion film 12 which is placed on the convex part 113 side of the convex-like member 11 and contains a plurality of metal powder particles 121 dispersed therein with the average particle diameter of 5 μ or more and 20 μm or less and the average thickness of 30 nm or more and 50 nm or less. The convex-like member 11 has a flat part 114 which is perpendicular to the tangent line of the convex part 113 and is placed between adjacent convex parts, on a cross section of a thickness direction of the convex-like member 11. The average thickness of the dispersion film 12 is 0.5 μm or more and 3.0 μm or less.
