<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength selection switch capable of suppressing a change in a focal length caused from expansion and contraction of a condensing lens by temperature change. <P>SOLUTION: A wavelength selection switch includes at least one input part to guide wavelength multiplexed light, a dispersion element to receive and disperse the light from the input part, a condensing element to condense the dispersed light dispersed by the dispersion element with respective to each wavelength, a light deflection member having plural reflection optical elements capable of deflecting the dispersed light condensed by the condensing element independently with respect to each wavelength, and at least one output part to receive the dispersed light deflected by the light deflection member. The wavelength selection switch is configured by a glass material that compensates almost all the change in a focal length caused from expansion of the condensing element, with respect to a change in temperature, by a change in the focal length caused from a change in a refraction index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
